2003 October Introduced the PowerGate® Plus 100 kW PV inverter, the world's first 100 kW inverter in a single cabinet
November Established the standard for film capacitors  
2005 December Introduced the PowerGate Plus 500 kW PV inverter
2006 June Introduced the PowerGate FC 1 MW fuel cell inverter
2008 Spring Chosen by General Motors to provide Satcon PowerGate Plus PV inverters for the General Motors car manufacturing facility in Figueruelas, Zaragoza, Spain—the largest rooftop solar photovoltaic power installation in the world
June Chosen by American Capital Energy to provide Satcon PowerGate Plus PV inverters for the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority (ACCVA), the largest rooftop solar photovoltaic power installation in North America
July Awarded the Solar Energy Grid Integration Systems (SEGIS) contract for PowerGate Plus PV inverters by Sandia National Laboratories for the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC)
